Dehydrator Workshop & Tasting

Learn how to cheaply and easily make fantastic raw crackers and activated nuts and seeds
Hosted by Kiki Bosch and Tim Cook
2 – 4pm, Sunday, 2 September, 2017
Highbury Fields, London

Would you like to learn how to make those expensive raw food crackers at home and get the most nutrient bang for your buck? In this event we teach you how to make your own raw crackers, how to activate nuts and seeds, and how you can create food with extra vitamins and minerals added to them.

You’ll learn how to:

  • make super tasty raw crackers
  • reuse your juice pulp in a great way, reducing your waste, and  create amazing fruit snacks for on the go
  • activate nuts, making them extra tasty and easier to digest

You will  taste at least four different types of raw crackers, taste the difference activation makes on nuts and seeds and how you can incorporate food waste in a new manner.

You will learn how to make dried fruit without any added chemicals. We will discuss the benefits of a dehydrator and why it doesn’t have to cost as much as you might think.

Kiki will show you how to make raw crackers, teach you how to reuse your waste and how to create awesome healthy snacks with dehydrated fruit. Tim will show you how to soak nut and seeds to activate them for maximum taste and digestibility.

We’ll make crackers made with a base of flaxseed, sunflower seed, pumpkin seed, chia, and flavoured with:

  • Herby
  • Raw maca, cinnamon, and flaxseed crackers
  • Spicy raw turmeric, black pepper, and flaxseed crackers
  • Vitamin loaded flaxseed crackers

You will take home a goodie bag of dehydrated nuts and crackers, plus tip sheets on soaking times and drying times, so you’re all ready to go!

Kiki Bosch, Nutritionist

Kiki is a nutritionist, biohacker, and true daredevil from The Netherlands, currently living in the UK. After three years of studying psychology, she realized that she was looking for a more holistic approach to the mind, body, and its connection. This led her to study nutrition, with a focus plant-based living, and to learn about different strategies used to control the mind and stay healthy.

Tim Cook, The Raw Londoner

Tim is deeply interested in how to maximise health using a plant based approach. He founded Raw Londoner from his love of simple raw food and the amazing variety available in London. He brings his curiosity and passion to the event, leading a practical and fun session designed to help you improve the quality of your life.

“Tim is a great host and knowledgeable, I’d definitely recommend attending the next one if you want to be inspired… I look forward to other events and being part of this community” – Naz
